I found this recipe on Sukrin’s website: easy, a couple of ingredients, low-carb, no baking: definitely a recipe for this blog!
Sukrin almond flour nutrition facts:
= a lot more protein and fiber than normal almond meal.
– 45 g Sukrin Mandelmel
– 30 g Sukrin Melis
– 1 egg white (if the raw egg white is a concern, use pasteurized egg whites instead)
– 1 drop of almond flavoring
– Chocolate, fruits or nuts for decorating (I used dark chocolate and white currants on the pictures)
Mix everything together until you get a nice marzipan dough.
Nutrition facts for 100 grams of traditional marzipan:
427 kcal, 6.6 g protein, 67.6 g carbohydrate, 65.7 g sugar, 14.5 g fat, 1.9 g fiber.

171 kcal, 18.6 g protein, 6.9 g carbohydrates, 0 g sugar, 7.7 g fat, 15.1 g fiber.
Decorate with melted dark chocolate, fruits or nuts.
