These cereal bars are a high in carbs, but I still wanted to publish this recipe on the blog because they’re not that high in sugar and they’re really filling. They’re ideal as a steady energy source when you’re having a very active day.
Ingredients for 4 bars:
Mix everything together in a blender. (You wanna rinse the adzuki beans very well before adding them if you’re using canned beans).
Pour into a medium dish covered with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius until the mixture hardens up. Cool down before cutting the bars with a knife.
Nutritional facts per bar: 255 kcal, 9.5 g protein, 42 g carbs, 9.5 g sugar, 6.3 g fat, 7.3 g of fiber.
