I twisted my ankle quite badly and I cannot do any squats or lunges for a while… >_<
Here are 4 exercises I’ve tried to work my legs and butt a bit, but without putting too much pressure on my ankle. These exercises target mainly the glutes and the lower back muscles. As for the number of repetitions and sets, I go for more than 20 reps or until it starts burning, with at least 3 sets of each exercise.
Birddog with crunch
Hyperextension with leg curl
Pilates knee raise
