These are my 5 all-time favorite dark chocolate brands. They all give me a big ‘chocolate kick’ and the health benefits of dark chocolate without too much sugar. 4 out 5 are European brands, mainly available in Europe. I don’t mean to brag or open up a debate, but when it comes to chocolate I think Europeans (Belgian, Swiss, French, Italian) know best. Honestly all the kinds of chocolate I have tasted in America as a tourist (like Ghirardelli for example) don’t come close to the quality of chocolates we can enjoy in Europe.
An organic Belgian chocolate. Crunchy with the addition of quinoa and flax seeds; dark, very flavorful.
From the Swiss brand Lindt. Very strong, bitter, intense taste that only real dark chocolate lovers will enjoy.

Produced in Holland and available in most Dutch whole food supermarkets.
Sweetened with palm sugar.
Comes in 3 different tastes: pure/nibs with pieces of cocoa, goji/orange and almond/fig. They all taste very good and have crunchy pieces in them. Like in a fortune cookie there is a small surprise message inside the packaging.
A thick, heavy bar of French chocolate. No unnecessary sugar, intense cocoa experience and very luxurious mouthfeel.
No sugar or sweeteners
Caribbean chocolate. A bit less creamy than Francois Pralus but more fruity notes.
One ingredient, no soy lecithin or emulsifiers.
